Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to my house, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him, upon whom signs of weakness due to illness were still visible. There were bunches of dates hanging in our house. The Prophet (ﷺ) began to eat from those dates. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) also wanted to eat the dates, but the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: "Ali! Stop, the signs of weakness are still evident upon you." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped. Then I made barley bread and beetroot curry and presented it to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Eat this, for it is more beneficial for you."
