حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ (٤) يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ، فَقَالَ: " اغْسِلِيهِ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَحُكِّيهِ بِضِلَعٍ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about a garment that gets menstrual blood on it. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Scrape it off with a rib bone and wash it with water and lotus leaves."
