حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، أَنَّهَا " رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ، ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ بِمَكَّةَ، يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm Hani that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, she saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) wrapped well in a cloth, performing eight rak'ahs, and he had thrown both ends of the cloth over his shoulders in opposite directions.
