حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ (٣) ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ (٤) ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَمْرٍو ابْنَةِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ، ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَخْطُبُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَلا يُكْسَاهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " (١) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Umm ‘Amr the daughter of `Abdullah that she heard `Abdullah bin azZubair narrate that:
He heard `Umar bin al-Khattab delivering a khutbah, He [ʼUmar] said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.”
