حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " صَلَاةٌ فِيهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ، إِلَّا مَسْجِدَ الْكَعْبَةِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Maymunah that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: One prayer in the Prophet's Mosque is superior to a thousand prayers in all other mosques except Masjid al-Haram.
