Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ دُوَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ، الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ، تَسْتَنْزِلُ الْحَالِقَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Good conduct, dignified bearing and moderation are one of the twenty-five parts of Prophethood."
