حَدِيثُ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ الْهِلَالِيَّةِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (١)، ٢٦٧٩٥ - حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِشَاةٍ لِمَوْلَاةٍ لِمَيْمُونَةَ مَيِّتَةٍ، فَقَالَ: " أَلَا أَخَذُوا إِهَابَهَا، فَدَبَغُوهُ، فَانْتَفَعُوا بِهِ؟ " فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّمَا حُرِّمَ أَكْلُهَا " قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةُ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهَا إِلَّا مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ: " حُرِّمَ أَكْلُهَا " قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: قَالَ أَبِي: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: مَرَّتَيْنِ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by a dead goat. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Why did you not benefit from its skin?" The people said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is dead." He said, "Its eating is forbidden, (but) its skin can be purified by tanning."
