حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ بْنِ شَرِيقٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، وَكَانَتْ خَالَتَهُ، فَسَقَتْنِي شَرْبَةً (١) مِنْ سَوِيقٍ، فَلَمَّا قُمْتُ، قَالَتْ لِي: أَيْ بُنَيَّ، لَا تُصَلِّيَنَّ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ " (٢) فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَمَرَنَا بِالْوُضُوءِ (٣) مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Saeed bin Mughira once visited Umm Habibah, so she filled a bowl with sattu and gave it to him to drink. Then Ibn Saeed took some water and only rinsed his mouth. Umm Habibah said, "Nephew! Why don't you perform ablution? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that after eating something cooked on fire, perform ablution."
