Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَمَّا حُضِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " ائْتُونِي بِكَتِفٍ أَكْتُبْ لَكُمْ فِيهِ كِتَابًا، لَا يَخْتَلِفُ مِنْكُمْ رَجُلانِ بَعْدِي " قَالَ: " فَأَقْبَلَ الْقَوْمُ فِي لَغَطِهِمْ، فَقَالَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ: وَيْحَكُمْ، عَهْدُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
A similar report was narrated from Anas bin Malik (رضي الله عنه) from the Prophet (ﷺ) except that he said in the first instance:
"Whoever has in his heart faith the weight of a grain of barley"; in the second instance he said "wheat”; and in the third instance he said “corn."
