حَدِيثُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضِرَارٍ (١) (٢)، ٢٦٧٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْهَجَرِيِّ، عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى جُوَيْرِيَةَ فِي يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ وَهِيَ صَائِمَةٌ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: " أَصُمْتِ أَمْسِ؟ " قَالَتْ: لَا، قَالَ: " تَصُومِينَ غَدًا؟ " قَالَتْ: لَا، قَالَ: " فَأَفْطِرِي " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Juwayriya that once on a Friday, while she was fasting, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to her. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked her, "Did you fast yesterday?" She replied, "No." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Will you fast tomorrow?" She replied, "No." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Then break your fast."
