حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ أَحَبُّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا دَامَ (١) عَلَيْهِ، وَإِنْ قَلَّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Someone asked Aisha and Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them) which deed was most beloved to the Prophet (peace be upon him). They replied: That which is done consistently, even if it is little.
