حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَلْ لِي مِنْ أَجْرٍ فِي بَنِي أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنْ أُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهِمْ؟ وَلَسْتُ بِتَارِكَتِهِمْ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا، إِنَّمَا هُمْ بَنِيَّ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، لَكِ فِيهِمْ (١) أَجْرٌ مَا أَنْفَقْتِ عَلَيْهِمْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that I once submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah, if I spend something on the children of Abu Salamah, will I get a reward for it? Because I cannot leave them in such a state, as they are also my children." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes, whatever you spend on them, you will get a reward for it."
