حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّهُ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ، ، أَنَّ أُمَّهَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ تَقُولُ: أَبَى سَائِرُ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُدْخِلْنَ عَلَيْهِنَّ أَحَدًا بِتِلْكَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، وَقُلْنَ لِعَائِشَةَ: " وَاللهِ مَا نُرَى هَذَا إِلَّا رُخْصَةً أَرْخَصَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِسَالِمٍ خَاصَّةً، فَمَا هُوَ بِدَاخِلٍ عَلَيْنَا أَحَدٌ بِهَذِهِ الرَّضَاعَةِ، وَلَا رَائِينَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that all the pure wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) denied that breastfeeding an adult man establishes the relationship of fosterage, and that such a man could come to them. All of them, including Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), said that in our opinion, this was a concession which the Prophet (ﷺ) had given specifically to Salim, therefore, on the basis of this fosterage, no one can come to us nor can anyone see us.
