حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ، أَوْ سَبْعٍ، لَا يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِكَلَامٍ، وَلَا تَسْلِيمٍ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform Witr with seven or five rak‘ahs, and he would not separate them with salam or speech in any way.
