حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلانِ يَحْفِرَانِ الْقُبُورَ: أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ يَحْفِرُ لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ يَحْفِرُ لِلأنْصَارِ وَيَلْحَدُ لَهُمْ، قَالَ: " فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَعَثَ الْعَبَّاسُ رَجُلَيْنِ إِلَيْهِمَا، فَقَالَ: اللهُمَّ خِرْ لِنَبِيِّكَ. فَوَجَدُوا أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، وَلَمْ يَجِدُوا أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ، فَحَفَرَ لَهُ وَلَحَدَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Barakah bin al-’Uryan al-Mujashi’i said : I heard Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"May Allah curse the Jews; animal fat was forbidden to them, so they sold it and consumed its price. When Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, forbids eating something, He also forbids its price."
