Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes, at the time of morning, ghusl (ritual bath) would become obligatory upon the Prophet (ﷺ) by choice, and the Prophet (ﷺ) would still observe the fast. Upon hearing this hadith, Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) retracted his earlier fatwa.
