Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ نَاعِمٍ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُبْنَى عَلَى الْقَبْرِ، أَوْ يُجَصَّصَ (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade building solid structures over graves or applying plaster to them.
