Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Fatimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) with a request for a servant and said, "O Messenger of Allah, my hands have developed calluses from grinding flour on the millstone and kneading the dough." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If Allah has decreed anything for you, it will surely reach you. However, at this moment, I will tell you something better than that. When you lie down on your bed, say 'Subhan Allah' thirty-three times, 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-three times, and 'Alhamdulillah' thirty-four times. These make a total of one hundred. These words are better for you than a servant. And after performing the Fajr prayer, say ten times, and after the Maghrib prayer, say ten times: 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulk wa lahul hamd, yuhyi wa yumit, biyadihil khair, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.' For each of these words, ten good deeds will be written for you, ten sins will be erased, and the reward for each will be equal to freeing a slave from among the descendants of Ismail. And except for shirk, no sin of that day will be able to harm you. And when you say these words in the morning, they will become a means of protection for you from every devil and evil until the evening."
