Musnad Ahmad Hadith 26540

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was in her house when a servant came and informed that Ali and Fatimah were at the door. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Leave my Ahl al-Bayt alone with me for a little while." So I got up from there and sat nearby. In the meantime, Fatimah, Ali, and Hasan and Husayn also came; both of them were small children. The Prophet (ﷺ) took them and seated them in his lap and began to kiss them. Then, with one hand he drew Ali and with the other Fatimah close to him and kissed both of them. After that, the Prophet (ﷺ) took the remaining part of his cloak and covered all of them with it, and then he took his hand out and pointed towards the sky and said, "O Allah, not to hellfire, I and my Ahl al-Bayt are entrusted to You." Upon this, I put my head into the room and said, "O Messenger of Allah, am I also with you?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You too."
