English translation

Kabsha bint Abi Maryam says that I asked Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), "Tell me, what did the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbid his family from?" She replied, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade us from cooking dates so much that even their pits would dissolve, and also from mixing raisins and dates together to make nabidh."
