حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: مَا نَسِيتُ قَوْلَهُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَهُوَ يُعَاطِيهِمُ (٣) اللَّبَنَ، وَقَدْ اغْبَرَّ شَعْرُ صَدْرِهِ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ إِنَّ (٤) الْخَيْرَ خَيْرُ الْآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ " قَالَ: فَرَأَى عَمَّارًا، فَقَالَ: " وَيْحَهُ ابْنُ سُمَيَّةَ تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ " قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سِيرِينَ فَقَالَ: عَنْ أُمِّهِ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، أَمَا إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ (٥) تُخَالِطُهَا، تَلِجُ عَلَيْهَا (٦) (٧)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that I do not forget the words of the Prophet (ﷺ) which he said on the occasion of the Battle of the Trench, when the blessed chest of the Prophet (ﷺ) was covered with dust. The Prophet (ﷺ) was handing bricks to the people and kept saying: "O Allah, the real goodness is the goodness of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajireen." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) saw Ammar and said: "O son of Sumayyah, alas! A rebellious group will kill you."
