حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَتْ عَائِشَةُ، وَأُمُّ سَلَمَةَ، أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ كَانَ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، قَالَتْ: " مَا دَامَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ قَلَّ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

Someone asked Aisha and Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with them) which deed was most beloved to the Prophet (peace be upon him). They replied: That which is done consistently, even if it is little.
