حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي الْمَقْبُرِيَّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، وَهُوَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ كَذَا قَالَ: سُفْيَانُ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أَشُدُّ ضَفْرَ رَأْسِي، قَالَ: " يُجْزِئُكِ أَنْ تَصُبِّي عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ (١) ثَلَاثًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said to the Prophet (ﷺ), "O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman whose hair is long and I have to tie it in plaits (so is it necessary to undo them when performing ghusl?)" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is sufficient for you to pour water over it three times thoroughly."
