حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْمُلَائِيُّ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، قَالَتْ: " أَرْبَعٌ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَدَعُهُنَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: صِيَامَ عَاشُورَاءَ، وَالْعَشْرَ، وَثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَالرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hafsa that there are four things which the Prophet (peace be upon him) never abandoned: fasting on the tenth of Muharram, fasting during the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, fasting three days in every month, and offering two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer.
