حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَنِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ابْنَةِ عُمَرَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ فِي بَيْتِي يُخَفِّفُهُمَا جِدًّا ". قَالَ نَافِعٌ: وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يُخَفِّفُهُمَا كَذَلِكَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hafsa that at the time of the true dawn, the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform two short rak'ahs in my house.
