Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ: قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَصْحَابُهُ لِصُبْحِ رَابِعَةٍ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ " فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً، إِلا مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيُ " قَالَ: " فَلُبِسَتِ الْقُمُصُ، وَسَطَعَتْ (٢) الْمَجَامِرُ، وَنُكِحَتِ النِّسَاءُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Give the shares of inheritance to those who are entitled to them, and whatever is left goes to the closest relative."
