حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْفُضَيْلَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ (٣)، ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْكَلالَةِ، فَقَالَ: " تَكْفِيكَ آيَةُ الصَّيْفِ " فَقَالَ: لَأَنْ أَكُونَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لِي حُمْرُ النَّعَمِ (١) .،
Translation
English translation
lt was narrated that ‘Umar said:
I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about kalalah and he said: “The verse that was revealed in summer is sufficient for you.` He said: Had I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about it, that would have been dearer to me than having red camels.
