Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: أُتِيتُ وَأَنَا نَائِمٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَقِيلَ لِي: إِنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ، قَالَ: " فَقُمْتُ، وَأَنَا نَاعِسٌ، فَتَعَلَّقْتُ بِبَعْضِ أَطْنَابِ فُسْطَاطِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يُصَلِّي قَالَ: فَنَظَرْتُ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ " قَالَ: فَإِذَا هِيَ لَيْلَةُ ثَلاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) got married whilst he was in ihram, and he was treated with cupping whilst he was in ihram.
