Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ هُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، (٢) عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالْحَنْتَمِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَأَنْ يُخْلَطَ الْبَلَحُ وَالزَّهْوُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that al-Mas'oodi said:
We have never seen anyone who was a greater supporter of the Shi'i view than ‘Adiyy bin Thabit.
