Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، انْتَهَسَ عَرْقًا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“The best of your kohl is antimony (applied) when you go to sleep. It makes the hair grow and makes the vision clear. And the best of your garments are those that are white; wear them and shroud your dead in them."
