Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ يَعْنِي الْعَطَّارَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ: " أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ ثَقَلَةِ وَضَعَفَةِ أَهْلِهِ لَيْلَةَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ، فَصَلَّيْنَا الصُّبْحَ بِمِنًى، وَرَمَيْنَا الْجَمْرَةَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed on a reed mat.
