Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ مِقْسَمٍ، (١) عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، خَطَبَ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ، فَجَعَلَتْ أَمْرَهَا إِلَى الْعَبَّاسِ، فَزَوَّجَهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Eesa bin ‘Ali, from his father, that his grandfather said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“The blessed horses are the palominos.”
