حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ النَّهَّاسِ، عَنْ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ: " أَنَا وَامْرَأَةٌ سَفْعَاءُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، كَهَاتَيْنِ، امْرَأَةٌ آمَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا، فَحَبَسَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَى يَتَامَاهَا، حَتَّى بَانُوا، أَوْ مَاتُوا " (٢)
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: That woman who possessed status and beauty, became widowed from her husband, and devoted herself to her orphaned children until they separated from her or died—on the Day of Resurrection, I and that woman with dark cheeks will be like these two fingers. Saying this, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) joined his index and middle fingers together.
