Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I sought permission from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) to enter the house and asked, "Should I come in completely or half?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Come in completely." So I went inside. At that time, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was performing ablution excellently. He said to me, "O Awf bin Malik! Count six things before the Day of Judgment comes: First, the death of your Prophet will occur; then, Bait al-Maqdis will be conquered; then, a plague of death will spread among you just as it spreads among sheep; then, the appearance of tribulations; and wealth will increase so much that if a man is given a hundred dinars, he will still remain dissatisfied; then, the Romans will come to fight you under eighty banners, under each banner will be an army of twelve thousand."
