حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّعْبَةِ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ،، ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، كَانَتْ نُورًا لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ: فَإِنَّ رِجَالًا يَنْتِفُونَ الشَّيْبَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَنْتِفْ نُورَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Fadala (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever grows old in the way of Allah, his white hair will be a source of light for him on the Day of Resurrection. A person submitted, "Some people pluck out their white hair." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever wishes to pluck out his light, let him do so.
