Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى مَرْتَبَةٍ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْمَرَاتِبِ بُعِثَ عَلَيْهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " قَالَ حَيْوَةُ: يَقُولُ: " رِبَاطٌ أَوْ حَجٌّ أَوْ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Fadala (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever dies in any state will be raised up in that same state.
