حَدِيثُ صُهَيْبٍ، ٢٣٩٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَجِبْتُ مِنْ قَضَاءِ اللهِ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنَّ أَمْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ فَشَكَرَ، كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ فَصَبَرَ، كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Suhaib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I am amazed at the affairs of a Muslim, for there is good for him in every matter, and this is for no one except a believer. If he receives something good, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and if he is afflicted with hardship, he is patient, and that is also good for him.
