حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، (١) عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: مَشَى مَعَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِلَى بَقِيعِ الْغَرْقَدِ، ثُمَّ وَجَّهَهُمْ وَقَالَ: " انْطَلِقُوا عَلَى اسْمِ اللهِ "، وَقَالَ: " اللهُمَّ أَعِنْهُمْ - يَعْنِي النَّفَرَ الَّذِينَ وَجَّهَهُمْ إِلَى كَعْبِ بْنِ الْأَشْرَفِ - " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ja'far bin Muhammad said:
When the Prophet (ﷺ) was washed (after he passed away), water would get under his eyelids and stay there, and ‘Ali would remove it.
