حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ، حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، ، قَالَ: " لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would hear the voice of the muezzin, he would repeat the same phrases that he was saying, but when he reached "Hayya ‘ala-s-Salah" and "Hayya ‘ala-l-Falah," the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would say: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah."
