حَدِيثُ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو (١)، ٢٣٧٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَصَلَاةُ الصُّبْحِ مَرَّتَيْنِ؟ " فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: إِنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ صَلَّيْتُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا، فَصَلَّيْتُهُمَا الْآنَ، قَالَ: فَسَكَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Qais bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saw a man performing two rak'ahs after the Fajr prayer. He said, "Is the Fajr prayer performed twice?" The man replied, "I was not able to perform the two Sunnah rak'ahs before Fajr, so I have performed them now." Upon this, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) remained silent.
