حَدِيثُ مُعَيْقِيبٍ، ٢٣٦٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمْةَ، عَنْ مُعَيْقِيبٍ، قَالَ: ذَكَرَ لِلنَّبِيِّ الْمَسْحَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، يَعْنِي الْحَصَى، فَقَالَ: " إِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'ayqib (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) about leveling pebbles in prostration. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If there is no other way and it is absolutely necessary to do so, then do it only once.
