حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ تِعْلَى (٣) ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَبْرِ الدَّابَّةِ " قَالَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ: " لَوْ كَانَتْ لِي دَجَاجَةٌ مَا صَبَرْتُهَا " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade using animals as targets. Therefore, even if I have a chicken, I will not tie it up and use it as a target.
