Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ، ، فَلْيَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ، وَلْيَقُلِ الَّذِي يُشَمِّتُهُ: يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللهُ، وَلْيَقُلِ الَّذِي يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ: يَهْدِيكُمُ اللهُ، وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any one of you sneezes, he should say "Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal" and the one who replies should say "Yarhamuk Allah" and the one who sneezed should say "Yahdikum Allah wa yuslihu balakum."
