حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ٢٣٤٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنَ الْأَعْمَشِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ مَعَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If I had not considered hardship for my Ummah, I would have ordered them to use the miswak with every prayer.
