حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الرِّيَاحِيِّ،، ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَمِّ نَبِيِّكُمُ، يَعْنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي مُوسَى بْنَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ، رَجُلًا آدَمَ طُوَالًا، جَعْدَ الرَّأْسِ، كَأَنَّهُ مِنْ رِجَالِ شَنُوءَةَ، وَرَأَيْتُ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ، مَرْبُوعَ الْخَلْقِ، فِي الْحُمْرَةِ وَالْبَيَاضِ سَبْطًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“With regard to a mukatab [a slave who has drawn up a contract of manumission with his master and is buying his freedom in instalments], a portion of the diyah of a free man should be paid, commensurate with how much he had paid towards his manumission, and a portion of the diyah of a slave should be paid, commensurate with the extent to which he was still a slave.”
