حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ (٤) ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، ، عَنْ (١) عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا أَقْبَلَ اللَّيْلُ، وَأَدْبَرَ النَّهَارُ، وَغَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَفْطَرْتَ " (٢) .،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that 'Umar bin al­-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When night comes and day departs, and the sun sets, then (it is time to) break your fast.`
