حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ لِقَوْمِهِ: " أَلَا أُصَلِّي لَكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَصَفَّ الرِّجَالُ، ثُمَّ صَفَّ الْوِلْدَانُ خَلْفَ الرِّجَالِ، ثُمَّ صَفَّ النِّسَاءُ خَلْفَ الْوِلْدَانِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) once said to his people, "Shall I not show you how the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray?" Accordingly, he formed a row of men first, then a row of children behind the men, and a row of women behind the children.
