Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ الرَّجُلُ طَعَامًا حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: كَيْفَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: " ذَلِكَ دَرَاهِمُ بِدَرَاهِمَ، وَالطَّعَامُ مُرْجَأٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up before us to exhort us... and he narrated the same report.
