حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْأَشْقَرُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُدَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْسَ فِي الْعَسْكَرِ مَاءٌ، فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَيْسَ فِي الْعَسْكَرِ مَاءٌ، قَالَ: " هَلْ عِنْدَكَ شَيْءٌ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " فَأْتِنِي بِهِ "، قَالَ: فَأَتَاهُ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ قَلِيلٍ، قَالَ: فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَصَابِعَهُ عَلَى (٣) فَمِ الْإِنَاءِ وَفَتَحَ أَصَابِعَهُ، قَالَ: فَانْفَجَرَتْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ عُيُونٌ، وَأَمَرَ بِلالًا فَقَالَ: " نَادِ فِي النَّاسِ: الْوَضُوءَ الْمُبَارَكَ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade selling foodstuff until it has been received in full. I [the narrator] said to him: Why was that? He said: It would be just like selling dirhams for dirhams, as the food is something postponed.
