حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعُمَيْسِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ الزَّرْقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any one of you enters the mosque, he should perform two rak'ahs (as Tahiyyat al-Masjid) before sitting down.
